TOPICS: AKVIS Magnifier v 9.0 Change Image Size Without Quality Loss
Their software is available for both Windows and MAC Website: http://www.alkvis.com/magnifier/index.php

SPEAKER: E. Lawrence Budro, Program Chairman
Tri-County Personal Computer User Group, Inc.

Presentation:

AKVIS Magnifier v9.0 allows resizing images without loss in quality. Wether creating poster-size images or adding resolution for a better printing quality, the program will make your enlarge image look crisp and clear! The resizing algorithms let you enlarge an image up to a resolution of 30,000 x 30,000 pixels which makes a 100 x 100 inch poster. It also allows setting the resolution from 72 dpi up to 1200 dpi. The higher resolutions require more CPU horsepower and longer times to create the images. The program can remove unwanted noise and smooth the edges as well as compression artifacts. I purchased the Home Deluxe version which is both a stand alone and plug in for Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe PhotoShop Elements Cost for the version I purchased is $99.00 not cheap but you get what you pay for. They have some other products that has my interest for in the future.
